UK.INK (uk.ink) is an online directory and review platform connecting tattoo studios and artists with potential clients in the United Kingdom. We do not ourselves provide tattooing services, employ tattoo artists, or act as an agent for any studio listed on the platform.
You must be 18 or over to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. UK.INK is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account.
Studio owners are responsible for ensuring that all information they publish about their studio and artists is accurate, lawful, and kept up to date. You warrant that you have the right to publish any images, descriptions, or other content you upload. UK.INK reserves the right to remove listings that are misleading, inaccurate, or in breach of these terms.
UK.INK operates as a hosting service for user-generated content, including reviews, photographs, and studio descriptions. We do not author, curate, endorse, or adopt any user-generated content as our own. Our liability in respect of user-generated content is governed by the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 (SI 2002/2013), specifically Regulation 19 (hosting immunity). We benefit from that immunity to the full extent permitted by law, provided we act expeditiously to remove unlawful content upon obtaining actual knowledge of it.
Reviews must comply with our Review Policy, which forms part of these terms. By submitting a review you confirm that:
UK.INK relies on the Section 5 defence under the Defamation Act 2013 in respect of statements posted by users of this website. Where a complainant serves a notice of complaint and it is not reasonably practicable for UK.INK to identify the poster, UK.INK shall respond in accordance with the procedure set out in the Defamation (Operators of Websites) Regulations 2013 (SI 2013/3028).
UK.INK expressly disclaims all liability for the truth, accuracy, completeness, or legality of any review or other content posted by users. Reviews represent the personal opinion of the individual reviewer. UK.INK does not verify the factual accuracy of reviews beyond the booking-code verification described in the Review Policy.

We will acknowledge receipt within 2 working days and aim to make a decision within 10 working days. Where we have actual knowledge of clearly unlawful content, we will act to remove or disable access to it expeditiously.
Studio owners may formally dispute any review about their studio using the dispute function in their dashboard. Disputed reviews are flagged for investigation and temporarily marked "Under Review". UK.INK will investigate and notify both parties of its decision within 5 working days. UK.INK's decision on disputes is final for the purposes of the platform; it does not affect any party's legal rights.
